Tali Mass Effect Speed Painting
About 35 - 45 mins on Photoshop. Not my best work but obviously a real quick one. Hope it's nice enough though =]

Delorean Toy Box
The wheels from the front view have been fixed, it can be viewed in the below image. The above illustration is pretty much an older version of the drawings but I honestly could not be bothered to display the newer version. If you wish to see the accuracy of the drawings, just consult the images below on the box.
So here is a project I worked on in class. It involved working with programs such a illustrator, photoshop & Cinema 4D. My knowledge with Photoshop is somewhat knowledgable for certain tasks such a painting and and some photo manipulation, however, Cinema 4D was a bit of a challenge. I did learn new things, such as creating shape, playing with lights and adding textures but I am no modeller. I enjoyed the painting side above all, so here is the outcome. I hope you like it.

Head of Velociraptor
This took roughly an hour and 30 minutes but it seemed a tad longer, although I was surprised how it came out in such a short time, considering the amount of detail present. Anyway, a lot of "Raptor" fans discredited this piece as it's not realistic enough, in terms of Raptors having feathers and not looking like the Jurassic park version. What they don't understand is it was referenced from a Jurassic Park model and not a real Raptor.

Xenomorph Sketch Speedie
I did this in class, took me like around an hour to think of something to sketch up. I was initially going to do something robotic or mechanical, but I then went with something a little organic or something lively. This sketch took about 40 mins to do, I think. It's not the most polished speedie I've done and there is a few faults in it. Anyway I think it's a nice little drawing and I want to post it up on here :)

Soldier's Girl Speed painting
Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hGIJGSqEngY
This is an old image that I found and painted up roughly, I might redo something of the sort but a more serious pose and mood. It's a fair bit under done but it's not a serious thing for me. The background would really compliment it if I gave a care but at the time, I wasn't really bothered. It's an old piece so I guess I was still learning.

Geth face speed painting
This speed painting was an hour and a half long although, perhaps more time was needed, a lot more time. I usually write that often, how I should spend more times on paintings. The thing is, i try to fit as much information or detail in such little time. You could say i'm trying to master this little trick. I know, it doesn't prove anything but, i mean, i enjoy doing this at a quick pace. Although i really need to start learning to be patient and slow down every so often.
Anyway, there's a lot of wrong in this piece but don't hold it against me.

Hanar 30 mins speed paint
This Hanar painting was a quick sketch as I wanted to do something easy and simplistic. I started this piece thinking I would spend at least an hour on it but by half way of that hour, i just thought I was getting there faster then I had anticipated. Although, if I had spent another half hour on it, I'm sure it would look a lot better.

Predator Doodles
I did these three Predator drawings maybe a while apart from one another. The one with the black background is the newest one which i did this year (2010) and from then, both older predator drawings were done in '09. I think i got a good grasp of my use of paint by the 2010 version and was 5x faster as it only took me 40 - 50 mins to do. Mind you it was just a sketchy paint job.

Female Anatomy Painting
This is an old piece that I've been meaning to touch up which is now sort of decent, I guess. This was a starter for me to learn female anatomy drawing and it was all from the mind. At the time I believe I was a;so reading a tutorial from Xia (idrawgirls.com). He showed me in one of his purchased tutorials that there was obviously a lot to learn. This is what I came up with.
Anyway, hope you like it :)

Panties Drawing
I did this drawing a while ago, maybe a year ago somewhere in '09. It was referenced but I forgot who. Anyway, it's pretty crap considering back then I wasn't that great at skin tones and rendering, and even now I have trouble. Hope you enjoy it!

Garrus Vakarian Speed Paint
Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0HC4jSX7-k4
Garrus was something i always wanted to do. He is also one of my fav characters from the Mass Effect series, which i think anyway. The armour was very easy to do, but his face just had a ton of detail that i just really, could not be bothered to do. Unless i spent another hour on it, i'm sure he'd come out a bit more clearer and finer. Anyway for an hours work, this is Garrus Vakarian.

Geth (Legion) Speed Painting
I did this Legion speedie as I'm playing Mass Effect from 1 to 2. Love that game :) Anyway, this was roughly 30 to 40 minutes on photoshop and it was really rushed without going in for details. I mean, there's few details at all in this thing but whatever you see, is there for a good reason. I hope to do another one soon.

Sketchbook scribbles
Here are some sketches I did. I'm feeling more and more confident with pen on paper as I practice. It also challenging to make a mistake and somehow correct it even though ink isn't really forgiving, mind you, sometimes it can't be fixed :P
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the sketches, some are photo ref. some aren't. I'm also enjoying conceptual work, I might try it some more and see if I pull some cool stuff from it.

Class stuff
These Images were drawings I done in art class. All traditionally done with various mediums. I wasn't the biggest fan of using traditional stuff at the time but I've grown to understand it a lot better now. These are a bit old but it's good to post things like this up so it shows a background of what I was doing and where I'm coming from. I also enjoyed life drawing class, I learnt a lot which I think is an essential piece of learning if one is the get good with drawing human anatomy.
Anyway, McQueen out!

FTM Comic
Done this whilst looking at varies comics on some websites and I came across a odd comic which involved a Man trapped in a Woman's body and a Boy trapped in a Mans body. Thought that idea was funny but the transman idea was a little more serious, so I decided to take something of the sort and create something new. This image didn't take too long but really it was just scribbling and a bit of fun using a lot of the texture brushes. Anyway, Hope you like the style.

Master Chief Speed Paintings
Believe it or not, I'm not a "Halo Fan" but i do enjoy sketching Master Chief now and then. I just think he is cool, even though I've played all the games since I was a little younger, I feel now that I've grown out of the Halo Universe and pretty much the Halo games in general. I mean, I've been over it a long time but it hasn't stopped me from sketching the Chief.
I still think he's cool and I hope I get around to doing more of him.
Here are a few styles I've been working on and of course, none are that flash and all but you get the point. Simple strokes used efficiently and with a lot of loose ends :P
PS: These aren't that recent, but like I mentioned, i hope to be doing some new ones soon.... maybe.
